Tutorial 1: How to Create a Blog using WordPress

Dear colleagues,

In this post, I will show you how to create a blog using WordPress. I will focus on the basics. Some other tutorials will be created to explain the advanced features.

To create your blog, please follow the following steps:

1. Go to http://wordpress.com
2. Click “Get started” to sign up and create your blog.

3. Complete the required info as the screenshot below shows.

4. Once you complete all the cells above, please click “Create Blog” to start blogging.

5. Go to your e-mail to activate your account on WordPress.

6. To write your post, please move your mouse over “Posts” on the sidebar and click “Add New”.

7. In the new post area, write a title and the body of the post, then click the “Publish” button to make it public.
